About Empire Capital
Empire Capital is a Mayfair-based boutique investment and property management firm with a growing portfolio of residential and commercial assets across London and beyond. We're looking for a Senior Property Analyst to join our Fund Monitoring & Asset Management team.
This role is for someone who understands the full picture of property investment, not just the numbers on a single deal. You'll know how assets are held, structured and taxed, and how those decisions affect returns for our investors.
What you'll be doing
- Financial analysis and modelling on acquisitions, disposals, refinancing and ongoing asset performance
- Advising on holding structures, including SPVs, and how they interact with ownership, financing and exit strategy
- Assessing the tax implications of transactions and structures, including SDLT, CGT, corporation tax, ATED, VAT on commercial property and non-resident ownership rules
- Producing investment memos, valuations and portfolio reports for senior management and clients
- Working with our solicitors, accountants, lenders and agents to take deals from appraisal to completion
- Monitoring portfolio performance, yields, rent rolls and cash flow across residential and commercial assets

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
