About the job
Empire Capital is a boutique investment and asset management firm based in Mayfair. We have a growing portfolio of residential and commercial assets across London, the UK and abroad. We act for private clients, family offices and international business groups. Our work covers the full property lifecycle: acquisition, structuring, financing, asset and property management, lettings, disposals and the wider corporate, tax and compliance matters around how wealth is held.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Fund Monitoring & Asset Management team, working directly under the Managing Director. This is not a narrow, spreadsheet-only role. You will need to understand the whole picture of property investment: how assets are bought, held, structured, financed, taxed, managed and eventually held for revenue, and how each of those decisions affects returns for investors and their families.
You will handle a wide range of work for high-net-worth clients. You will often be the person who joins up the client, their solicitors, accountants, tax advisers, banks, agents and contractors to get things done. This role suits someone with at least five years’ relevant experience who is comfortable taking ownership, working to deadlines and dealing with senior clients and advisers.
What you’ll be doing
1. Acquisitions and investment analysis
- Sourcing, screening and appraising residential, commercial and mixed-use opportunities, including single assets, multi-unit blocks and portfolios bought from banks, funds and corporate sellers
- Building and maintaining detailed financial models for acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, development and change-of-use opportunities, covering IRR, equity multiple, yield on cost, cash on cash returns and sensitivity analysis
- Preparing offer strategies and offer letters, including price, conditions, exclusivity and timetable, and negotiating with selling agents
- Running deals from heads of terms through due diligence, exchange and completion. This includes chasing outstanding items, managing the deal timetable and pushing transactions to exchange
- Reviewing title, leases, planning history, building surveys, valuations, searches and legal reports on title with our solicitors, and flagging risks that affect value or structure
- Assessing our clients’ acquisition criteria against each opportunity and presenting clear recommendations
2. Holding structures, SPVs and corporate matters
- Advising on the right holding vehicle for each acquisition: personal ownership, UK SPV, holding company, overseas company or trust/family investment company. Considering how each affects financing, tax, succession and exit
- Setting up new SPVs and group companies, and supporting the restructuring of existing holding structures, including group perimeter reviews and shareholder changes
- Coordinating dormant company closures, strike-offs and voluntary dissolutions with solicitors and accountants
- Preparing and coordinating intra group and shareholder loan agreements, guarantees and related corporate documentation
- Supporting multi jurisdiction groups with entities in the UK, UAE and Europe, including understanding how UK structures interact with overseas entities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Managing private bank and lender onboarding for international clients. This includes KYC and enhanced due diligence questionnaires, source of wealth and source of funds evidence, corporate structure charts and business activity descriptions
- Coordinating responses to compliance queries from banks, gathering documents from clients’ finance and compliance teams and chasing until onboarding is complete
