I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Role overview
We provide our sales team with hot inbound leads every day, generated through various marketing streams. Some days will be filled dealing with a high level of inbound enquiries and other days you will be expected to hit KPI’s for outbound calls to our database of warm leads. Once you engage in conversation with a client, you are expected to professionally consult with them on their property investment requirements. Using taught product knowledge, you will then pitch the best investment property based on their requirements.
The best performing salespeople in this role are professional, articulate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Furthermore, they should be able to handle objections with confidence, create urgency without being pushy and close sales over the phone.
The role does involve some face to face meetings with clients, but the majority will be over phone, whatsapp, email and video calls. It is therefore important you can build trust with clients through these lines of communication.
Experience required
We are reserving a seat in the team for a very experienced and effective Property Investment Consultant. Current or recent experience selling to investors is absolutely essential to be considered for this position, ideally selling off plan, but all property investment experience will be considered.
