Senior Property Lawyer – Residential Conveyancing
Eastleigh | Hybrid Working
Up to £75,000 depending on experience + benefits/bonus
Looking for a senior conveyancing role with autonomy, a supportive team and the flexibility of hybrid working?
We’re recruiting a Senior Property Lawyer to join a well-established conveyancing team in Eastleigh. You’ll manage a residential caseload from instruction through to completion, delivering excellent client service and helping maintain strong technical and compliance standards.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive who enjoys managing their own caseload and supporting colleagues.
The role
- Manage residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds where applicable.
- Review titles, raise and respond to enquiries, and resolve complex legal issues.
- Provide clear, proactive advice and keep clients informed throughout their transaction.
- Work closely with estate agents, lenders, brokers, and other solicitors to keep matters progressing.
- Ensure files meet AML, lender, and internal compliance requirements, including CQS standards where relevant.
- Maintain accurate records on the case management system.
- Guide junior colleagues when needed and contribute to improvements across the department.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
