Winchester City Council is seeking a proactive Senior Property Lawyer to join our Legal Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of property matters that support the Council’s strategic goals, including regeneration projects and affordable housing initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

You will be successful in the Senior Property Lawyer role if:

  • You have an innovative and commercial approach to ensure the delivery of a high-quality in-house legal service.
  • You are able to work as part of a team, be flexible, enthusiastic, and committed.
  • You have demonstrable experience of providing legal advice and support in local authority or a comparable organization, applying the legislation, guidelines, regulations, code of practice, and industry standards.
  • You have supported asset purchase and disposal, landlord and tenant issues, and affordable housing schemes.
