Role Description

The Senior Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Doncaster, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential properties and ensuring all landlord and tenant obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing tenancies from instruction to move-out
  • Arranging and overseeing property inspections
  • Coordinating maintenance and repairs
  • Handling rent collection and arrears
  • Preparing tenancy documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and safety standards
  • Maintaining accurate records in property management systems
  • Responding to tenant and landlord queries
  • Resolving issues promptly
  • Providing guidance to junior team members

Qualifications

  • Strong property management skills, including tenancy administration, lease negotiation, and portfolio oversight.
  • Experience coordinating inspections, maintenance, repairs, and contractor relationships.
  • Knowledge of UK lettings legislation, compliance requirements, and health and safety standards relevant to residential properties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with landlords, tenants, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Proficient organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Comfort using property management software, CRM systems, and standard office applications.
  • Proven experience in a senior or advanced property management role within residential sales or lettings.
  • Ability to work independently on site, exercise sound judgment, and handle challenging situations calmly and fairly.
  • Relevant industry accreditation (e.g., ARLA Propertymark or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Valid right to work in the UK and flexibility to attend appointments and inspections as required in Doncaster and surrounding areas.
