SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGER
Rendall & Rittner
Competitive
Hybrid - London
Role Overview
You will take the lead on two prominent mixed residential developments in London, comprising around 1,000 homes, with further phases and new instructions anticipated as the portfolio grows. You’ll be the anchor point for residents, clients and suppliers, shaping a gold standard management service that’s proactive, transparent and commercially sound.
Backed by a full onsite estates team, you’ll set the rhythm, ensure compliance and deliver excellent resident experiences. You’ll be on site in London at least two days each week, and attend our Vauxhall office monthly to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders on strategy, budgets and performance.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Most days, you’ll be steering service delivery across your developments: leading your on-site teams, driving maintenance and compliance, and keeping clients and residents fully informed. You’ll plan and run major works through robust Section 20 consultation, manage budgets and contracts, and use data and insight to continuously improve standards and value.
What Success Looks Like
- Residents feel listened to and see timely, visible action on issues and improvements.
- Section 20 consultations are compliant, well-communicated and deliver best value without surprises.
- Budgets are accurate, transparent and on track, with clear forecasting and variance control.
- On-site teams are engaged, performing strongly and aligned to agreed KPIs and SLAs.
- Compliance, H&S and risk actions are complete and evidenced, with audit-ready records.
- Client relationships are trusted partnerships, with clear reporting and proactive recommendations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
