Senior Property Services Officer – Assets and Repairs
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Property Services Officer – Assets and Repairs to join our Property Services team.
Contract Terms: 35 hours per week (full time), permanent
Salary: £50,780-£53,897, Grade SO3-SO1 + car allowance. Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.
Location: Invergordon with hybrid working (weekly attendance to the office will be required)
Closing Date: Sunday, 30th August at 11.59pm
Interview Date: Thursday 10th & Friday 11th September
About The Role
Working closely with the Property Services Manager and Senior Officer colleagues, you will contribute towards ensuring our homes are maintained to a high standard, whilst delivering excellent customer outcomes and achieving value for money.
- You’ll play a key role in pro-actively driving repairs performance and monitoring budgets
- Contributing to the development of planned investment programmes
- Managing contractor performance
- Using asset data to support long-term investment decisions
- The role also includes line management responsibility for some members within the Property Services team
The role includes a requirement to participate in the out-of-hours cover rota, providing support outside normal working hours when required. This commitment is expected to be approximately three times per year and will be planned in advance wherever possible.

We’re looking for someone with…
- Demonstrable experience of working in a supervisory, senior or management position within a property related environment, for example facilities management, housing, construction, property management or engineering.
- Knowledge and understanding of responsive repairs, planned maintenance and asset management.
- Experience of managing contractors, monitoring performance and delivering services or projects against budgets and KPIs.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data to support decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
