Senior Property Services Quality Officer
Location: Leicester Office (covering Leicestershire, West Midlands, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire) - Hybrid
Hours: 35 contracted hours per week
Salary: Up to £45,297.99 per annum (depending on experience), plus £3,060 per annum of car allowance

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Property Services Quality Officer to join our Property Services team. As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering excellent property services, this exciting newly created role offers a unique opportunity to influence how quality is monitored, challenged and improved across our repairs, maintenance and void property programmes.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our homes remain safe, compliant and maintained to a high standard, helping us deliver excellent services and positive outcomes for our customers and residents.
What You'll Be Doing
As Senior Property Services Quality Officer, you will:
- Lead, manage and support a team of Property Services Quality Officers to deliver high-quality services.
- Act as the technical expert for the team, providing guidance, coaching and best practice advice.
- Carry out inspections of void properties and specify repair and maintenance requirements.
- Undertake pre- and post-work inspections to ensure quality, compliance and value for money.
- Monitor contractor performance against quality, cost and service standards.
- Support property compliance programmes, including Fire Risk Assessment actions.
- Investigate building defects and maintenance issues, ensuring effective resolution.
- Oversee repairs and maintenance works at Advance office locations.
- Analyse performance data and maintain accurate records within housing management systems.
- Support the investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
- Contribute to service improvements and operational excellence across Property Services.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in construction, surveying, property maintenance or a related building trade.
- HNC/HND qualification in Building Studies, Construction, Surveying or Property Maintenance.
- Experience of managing teams and performance.
- Budget management experience within reactive maintenance repairs.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing/property management systems.
- Strong report writing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

Additional Information
This role is home, site and office based, with your main office location being Leicester.
Regular travel across Leicestershire, West Midlands, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire will be required.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
