About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role within a highly regarded managed legal services team in Leeds, advising clients on commercial property matters. You will build relationships with well-known clients, handle complex transactions, and support junior lawyers while helping shape innovative ways of delivering legal services.

The Senior Property Solicitor will be:

- Acting as a legal adviser to clients and working closely with their legal, estates, and operational teams
- Leading the negotiation, drafting, and management of commercial property asset management matters
- Advising on leases, licences, variations, surrenders, extensions, consents, and related agreements
- Advising on and managing real estate finance transactions
- Preparing and reviewing certificates of title, charges, searches, officers' certificates, and legal opinions
- Building strong, long-term client relationships and developing a detailed understanding of commercial objectives
- Working with colleagues across the managed legal services team and wider firm
- Supporting continuous improvement and technology-enabled approaches to legal service delivery
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Maintaining high standards of quality, service delivery, and client satisfaction
Profile
The Senior Property Solicitor should be:
- A solicitor with approximately 4 to 10 years PQE
- Experienced in commercial property matters, ideally within a private practice, in-house, or managed legal services environment
- Experienced in commercial property asset management, including leases, licences, variations, surrenders, and consents
- Experienced in real estate finance transactions and related documentation
- Commercially minded with the ability to understand and respond to clients' wider business objectives
- Confident building relationships with senior stakeholders
- Able to manage a varied caseload
- Comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams
- Experienced in supervising, coaching, or mentoring junior colleagues
- Interested in technology, innovation, and modern approaches to legal service delivery

Job Offer
- Salary between £80,000 and £90,000
