Senior Commercial Proposals Manager

As Senior Commercial Proposals Manager within Region 2 you are responsible for identifying the Project risks associated with current Upgrade/complex proposals in progress. You will work collaboratively with multifunctional and global teams to implement measures to identify and analyze risks and drive the team to mitigate or quantify these risks on complex proposals and multiyear agreements. You will develop Region 2 Opportunity's Risks, ensuring the key risk areas are identified and mitigated within the tender process, ensuring to maintain harmonized approach across the opportunities for example but not limited to:

  • Schedule Solidity
  • Cost solidity
  • Risks Visibility & Mitigations

On occasion you may also be responsible for the preparation of proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

  • Ensuring a structured approach to the Deal review process
  • Develop Winning strategy for Long Term Operation Plants. Understanding the Return of experience and Lessons learnt from similar projects.
  • Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area and integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Uses technical/Commercial experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college or similar level experience.
  • This role requires advanced experience within a similar role involving Sales & Proposals.
  • It also requires English Language fluent, spoken and written.
