Are you a Senior Proposition Manager, Operations SME or Workplace Savings Specialist looking for a growth opportunity that builds towards a future leadership role as a Proposition Owner?
We are seeking a Senior Proposition Manager with strong experience of the UK workplace pensions market to play a key role in shaping and evolving our employer proposition. Joining Royal London’s Workplace Value Stream, you will work on one of our most important strategic priorities and be part of a significant investment programme designed to strengthen our market position and deliver outstanding experiences for employers, advisers and members.
You will work within a squad, supporting the Proposition Owner and taking the lead on the design and development of key elements of the employer experience across onboarding, servicing and engagement. Using market insight, customer understanding and strong analytical thinking, you will help define and deliver propositions that meet the evolving needs of employers and contribute to Royal London’s growth ambitions.
About The Role
- Help shape the design, development and delivery of Royal London’s future workplace proposition, owning defined areas of proposition development in partnership with the Proposition Owner.
- Leads the analysis and design of employer journeys and proposition components.
- Deal with a complex technical and business landscapes to ensure they align to Royal London propositions goals and allow for future agility in the workplace market.
- Champions customer led design to ensure that design thinking principles are applied to new features.
- Take a logical approach to problem solving, analysing all options and recommending those that are most optimal.
- Collaborate with the team, partners and wider business to shape and clearly communicate the future workplace proposition and its priorities.
- Understands risk responsibilities to support governance processes and regulatory (TPR and FCA) requirements.

About You
- A track record of driving changes that enhance customer value, from ideation through to market launch, within complex technical environments and in partnership with change functions.
- Experience of developing workplace propositions and administration platforms, with exposure to employer proposition design or employer experience journeys.
- A strong understanding of automatic enrolment and The Pensions Regulator (TPR) requirements would be beneficial.
- Understands trends in the workplace market, particularly, innovation in the retirement market and the employer experience.
- Experience of working effectively as part of a cross-functional team, while progressing initiatives autonomously.
- Confident written and verbal communicator, with excellent stakeholder management skills across internal and external audiences.
- Shows ownership and accountability, with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
