About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to further develop the low intensity service provision within Croydon Talking Therapies, and to support the senior management team in overseeing the step 2 offer in the service.

We are committed to get the very best out of our staff and support clinicians in their career aspirations, offering ongoing training and development. We have career pathways available, where you will be able to develop your skills and build on your experience to progress into other roles across different specialties, including HI CBT. We are looking for a commitment of at least 1 year in this role.

Key Requirements

  • Proficient in the delivery of telephone triage assessments and CBT-based guided self-help interventions
  • Experience of working with common mental health problems within primary care
  • Opportunities to co-run groups and workshops with other PWPs or High-Intensity Therapists
  • Experience and skills in this would be very beneficial
  • Opportunity to further develop your already existing supervisory skills and gain experience in supervising step 2 clinicians

Working Conditions

  • Flexible working options available as part of our new ways of working
  • Work from Monday to Friday, 8am to 7:30pm
  • SPWP are required to be able to work from the office 2 days per week
  • Ability to work at least one late shift from 11:30 to 19:30
  • Work from home on some days

About the Location

  • Based at our team bases in Central Croydon and at the Bethlem Hospital site
  • Possible day at a GP surgery in Croydon
  • Bethlem Royal Hospital is in a beautiful setting in over 200 acres of green space in the London Borough of Bromley, South East London
  • Easy access to nearby main roads and offers free parking
  • Within walking distance from Eden Park and West Wickham overland stations
