This role is particularly well suited to an Account Executive who is ready to step up, develop their client management skills and progress their career within a specialist PR consultancy.

The Opportunity Hub UK is recruiting on behalf of a specialist B2B public relations consultancy working with businesses across the global logistics, supply chain and technology sectors. Based near Southwark and Borough Market, the consultancy delivers international communications campaigns and offers a collaborative environment where PR professionals can develop their skills, gain exposure to global clients and take on increasing levels of responsibility.

Job Overview

As a Senior Account Executive, you will support the day to day delivery of PR campaigns across a portfolio of international B2B clients. You'll work closely with experienced PR professionals across media relations, content creation, campaign delivery, events and client management.

This is an ideal opportunity for an Account Executive with previous PR experience who is ready to progress into a Senior Account Executive position. You'll be given the opportunity to take greater responsibility for client accounts while continuing to receive the training and support needed to develop towards Account Manager level.

There will also be opportunities to attend client meetings, industry events and other activities internationally as part of the Senior Account Executive role.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the day to day delivery of B2B PR campaigns for international clients
  • Drafting press releases, case studies, media pitches, campaign updates and other communications content
  • Researching news stories, industry developments and trends to identify opportunities for clients
  • Building and maintaining targeted media lists
  • Developing relationships with journalists and carrying out proactive media outreach
  • Pitching stories and securing relevant media opportunities for clients
  • Monitoring media coverage and supporting the preparation of campaign reports
  • Attending client meetings and helping to manage actions, deadlines and campaign priorities
  • Coordinating interviews, events and other media opportunities
  • Working collaboratively with the wider PR team across multiple client accounts
  • Keeping up to date with developments across the media, PR, logistics, supply chain and technology sectors
  • Taking on increasing responsibility for client accounts as your experience develops

Here are the skills you'll need:

  • Previous experience working as an Account Executive within PR
  • A desire to progress into a Senior Account Executive position and take on greater responsibility
  • Some practical experience of media relations and pitching stories to journalists
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence researching and writing engaging content for different audiences
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks across multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from experienced colleagues
  • Confidence asking questions, contributing ideas and communicating with clients
  • A genuine interest in news, media, business, communications and public relations
  • Previous logistics, supply chain or technology experience would be beneficial but is not essential
