The Company – Senior PR Executive
You’ll have seen this company’s logo plenty of times, even if you haven’t given much thought to the business behind it. It’s a large, established organisation with plenty to say about its people, its customers and where its industry is heading. The PR team’s job is to find the stories worth telling and make sure they reach the right people.
They’re looking for a Senior PR Executive who enjoys the pace of a busy press office and knows that a good story rarely arrives neatly packaged in your inbox.
The Role – Senior PR Executive
You’ll help shape the company’s reputation through media relations, corporate content, thought leadership and PR campaigns. There’s a steady flow of stories to uncover, from innovation and sustainability to the work happening across the business every day. You’ll need the judgement to spot what will interest an audience outside the company and the writing skills to make it land.

Key Responsibilities – Senior PR Executive
- Handle day-to-day press office activity and respond to media enquiries.
- Write press releases, thought leadership pieces, corporate communications and award entries.
- Build strong relationships with journalists and industry contacts.
- Find opportunities to raise the profile of the business, its people and its senior leaders.
- Support PR campaigns, launches, events and speaking opportunities.
- Keep up with current affairs and identify where the business has something useful to add.
- Help draft statements and support the team with issues management.
- Track coverage and campaign results, then show what the work has achieved.
About You – Senior PR Executive

You’ll have solid PR or external communications experience and a good instinct for what makes a story. You’re comfortable speaking to journalists, working with senior people and turning complicated information into clear, engaging copy.
You’ll be curious, organised and commercially aware. You can manage the daily demands of a press office while still finding time to look up, notice what’s happening in the wider world and suggest an angle nobody has picked up yet.

This role is hybrid, with 3 days on site in the east Berkshire office and the rest from home.
