JOB DESCRIPTION
DADA Enterprises Limited, trading as DADA, is building a pre-qualified associate bench of experienced grant assessors to support public sector funding application reviews.
This role is specifically for candidates who have assessed, reviewed, scored, moderated or quality-checked grant applications, funding bids, procurement submissions, business cases or programme proposals in skills, employment, adult education, further education, learner support, inclusion, social value or public funding.
This is not a general administration, CV review or policy research role. We need assessors who can read a written application, test the evidence against published criteria, identify unsupported claims and write a clear, neutral scoring rationale.
The opportunity is expected to involve UK-based, primarily remote, call-off work delivered in focused assessment windows rather than continuous full-time employment.
TYPE OF APPLICATIONS YOU MAY ASSESS
You may be asked to assess public sector grant or bid applications covering:
- adult skills and employability programmes
- further education and training delivery
- learner support, outreach and inclusion
- employer engagement and progression into work
- support for disadvantaged or underrepresented groups
- social value and community benefit proposals
- programme delivery plans, outputs, outcomes and benefits
- value for money, delivery risk and applicant capability
This reflects the current resourcing scope for skills, employment, education, inclusion and related public funding assessment work. The wider opportunity also includes moderation, feedback quality assurance and assessment operations.
BACKGROUNDS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You may have worked in roles such as:
- grant assessor / funding assessor
- bid evaluator / procurement evaluator
- public sector programme assessor
- skills or employability programme manager
- adult education or further education quality lead
- learner support / inclusion / outreach programme lead
- social value evaluator
- contract manager for skills, education or employability services
- public funding officer / grants officer
- audit, assurance or quality reviewer for funded programmes
- evaluation panel member or moderation panel member

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
