An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pump Engineer to join an established and highly reputable M and E Services Provider with a superb reputation for delivering high-quality engineering services across London.
This is a stable, well-established business that places a genuine emphasis on quality workmanship, technical standards, and customer service, rather than simply getting engineers through jobs as quickly as possible.
The role would suit a skilled Field Pump Engineer with experience maintaining and servicing a variety of pump systems within commercial plant room environments, who is now looking for a long-term opportunity with a professional employer, excellent earning potential, and genuine career development.
The Role
- Service, fault-find, and maintain a variety of pump systems within commercial plant rooms
- Attend client sites across London and Greater London
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to a high standard
- Work as part of a team on larger projects while also operating independently on smaller works
- Diagnose faults and provide effective technical solutions
- Maintain excellent standards of health and safety, workmanship, and customer service
- Develop strong working relationships with clients and site teams
- Assist with the training, development, and mentoring of apprentices
- Represent the company professionally in this highly client-facing position
- Opportunity for overtime to significantly increase earning potential

The Person
The Successful Candidate Will Ideally Have
- Proven experience working as a Pump Engineer / Field Pump Engineer
- Strong knowledge of pump systems and associated plant room equipment
- A background working within commercial buildings, plant rooms, or M and E environments
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- A strong understanding of engineering standards and safe working practices
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
- A professional attitude and a genuine commitment to maintaining high standards
