Contract Senior Python Engineer

Up to £700 per day (Outside IR35)

6 month contract with scope for extension

Hybrid, Surrey (3 days a week onsite)

We're working with an award-winning, growing business who are looking for a contract Senior Python Engineer to join a small, highly technical team on an initial 6 month contract. You'll take end-to-end ownership of the backend and the AWS environment behind it.

  • Proven experience across backend engineering utilising Python and Django
  • Hands-on AWS ownership and infrastructure as code, comfortable being responsible for production rather than just deploying to it
  • Experience running asynchronous, long-running workloads in production, covering concurrency, retries and idempotency
  • Degree educated, ideally to Master's level in an engineering or mathematics discipline
