Senior Python Engineer (Agentic AI) | UK | Contract | Outside IR35

Start date: 1st September (7th September at the very latest). Please only apply if you can start by the 7th.

A short, high-ownership contract building a production agentic AI product for a name that matters in cyber security.

The Role

You'll help build an AI-powered MCP server for a well-established cyber security organisation.

  • Own a self-contained area of the build end to end, working in Python across FastAPI, Django or Flask
  • Integrate LLMs to make the client's frameworks accessible through an agentic interface

The work runs as a prioritised backlog, refined with the client each week, so priorities shift as things progress. You'll pick up your area, run with it, and keep the team in the loop.

What's In It For You

  • A genuine agentic AI build headed for production, not a proof of concept
  • Real ownership of your own area. You'll make the technical calls, not close tickets on someone else's design
  • A short, focused engagement with a clear delivery date and no long-tail maintenance
  • Remote-first, with office space available when it helps

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
