Hybrid | Financial Services | £450-£650 per day (inside IR35)

We're working with a technology consultancy that's helping some of the biggest organisations in financial services modernise the way they operate through AI and intelligent automation. They're investing heavily in this area and are looking for an experienced Python Engineer to play a key role in designing and delivering scalable automation solutions that solve genuine business problems—not just proof of concepts.
If you enjoy building robust software, experimenting with the latest AI technologies and seeing your work deployed into production, this could be the role for you.

What you'll be working on:
- Developing intelligent automation solutions that streamline complex business processes using modern Python development practices and the latest advances in Generative AI.
- Building APIs, integrating enterprise systems and developing AI-powered applications that are designed to operate reliably at scale.
- Working alongside a highly technical team to influence technical decisions, contribute to solution design and help shape how AI is adopted across large-scale client environments.
We'd love to speak to you if you have experience with:
- Commercial Python software development
- Building scalable backend applications and APIs
- Generative AI and Large Language Models
- AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or similar
- SQL and working with structured data
- Git and modern development practices including CI/CD

Experience within financial services or consultancy environments would be beneficial but isn't essential.
