About The Role
Harnham is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join their team and take a leading role in developing and scaling a high-impact ad-fraud prevention platform. This position is ideal for a technically proficient individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building robust, scalable systems. As a senior contributor, you will be responsible for owning critical components of the platform, ensuring high-quality code, and driving technical excellence. The role offers a unique opportunity to influence the direction of the company's core product, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that combat ad fraud and enhance advertising integrity.

- Extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in building scalable and high-performance systems.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Experience with data streaming and processing technologies such as Kafka, Spark, or similar.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing secure, reliable, and maintainable code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in ad-tech, fraud detection, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software components for the ad-fraud prevention platform.
- Own key features and modules, ensuring high quality, performance, and security standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment to ensure reliable software delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of the platform.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate relevant advancements into the product development process.
