Senior Python Engineer (GCP) | Outside IR35 | £700/day | 6-Month Contract
We're looking for an experienced Senior Python Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern cloud-native platforms, building scalable backend services and delivering impactful solutions within a collaborative engineering environment.
The Role
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Python applications and microservices.
- Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software.
- Drive engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
- Contribute to the design of scalable, resilient, and secure systems.

Essential Skills
- Strong commercial experience with Python.
- Proven expertise working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience building APIs and distributed backend systems.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Role: Senior Python Engineer
- Contract: Initial 6 months
- Day Rate: Up to £700 per day
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
- Location: London (1 day per week onsite)
- Start: ASAP
