About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst to join the team at Expleo UK LTD. This role is ideal for a professional with strong hands-on testing expertise, a broad technical scope, and a solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies. The Senior QA Analyst will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions across multiple projects and platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, product owners, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet business requirements and user expectations. The role involves designing, executing, and automating test cases, performing API and backend testing, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function.
Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent recognized certification in Software Testing.

- Additional courses or certifications in Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or related disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases across multiple projects, ensuring coverage of functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with business representatives and stakeholders to facilitate testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, validating request and response structures, data integrity, and overall API performance.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend processes, verify data accuracy, and support data verification activities.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners within an Agile environment to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Log, track, prioritize, and manage defects using industry-standard Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Serve as the primary liaison for quality assurance within cross-functional teams, interfacing with third-party vendors, clients, and business representatives as necessary.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to promote transparency and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to test planning, risk assessments, and estimation activities to support project delivery and resource planning.
- Drive initiatives to improve QA processes, testing practices, and automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leverage test automation tools and scripting languages such as Java, Typescript, or C# to develop and maintain automated test scripts using libraries like Selenium or Playwright.
