Senior QA Engineer
Ocean Infinity is seeking a Senior QA Engineer.
The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for being the primary point of contact within the Software QA team for all projects referring to both Unreal Engine & Simulator development, ensuring the correct development and appropriate testing practices for high-quality product standards across all of the aforementioned software products. This role ensures that the QA processes, tools, and methodologies align with industry regulations and best practices. The Senior QA Engineer collaborates closely with the Software QA Lead and members of their team to establish quality benchmarks, processes, and fostering a quality-driven culture across their team.

What you will do:
- Mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support to create a high-performing, quality-focused team;
- Collaborate with Stakeholders to ensure that the software development life cycle includes thorough testing and adheres to industry quality standards;
- Develop and implement QA strategies and methodologies, ensuring that test plans, processes, and reporting tools are optimized for manual and automated testing;
- Oversee the development of test strategies, audit processes, and quality management practices that support continuous improvement;
- Foster a culture of quality by evangelizing QA best practices, identifying areas for process improvements, and driving innovation in testing strategies and methodologies;
- Track project progress, measure team performance, and ensure that QA initiatives align with the broader organizational objectives and product goals;
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and career development for the QA team members;
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to translate QA-related insights into actionable plans;
- Comply with Ocean Infinity Policies, practices, programs, and procedures as described in the Ocean Infinity management system.
Who you are:
- At least 3 years of experience in testing Unreal Engine applications;
- Proven experience in leading and managing testing activities;
- Experience with testing lifecycle tools such as X-ray;
- Extensive knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
- Strong expertise in various types of software QA testing;
- Proven experience in complex agile software development projects;
- Ability to derive and execute tests from complex technical concepts and requirements;
- Strong knowledge of test writing techniques and the creation of test artefacts;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
- Proficiency in using version control systems;
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps;
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence;
- Knowledge of test automation and automation tools/frameworks.

Salary for this position:
- Porto - Up to €65,000 per annum
- London - Up to £95,000 per annum
Salary:
The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
