Senior QA & Test Lead | Major UK Government Programme | Hybrid (1 day a week on site) | Up to £500/day | 6-Month Contract

There are testers who execute. There are leads who govern. A £710m cross-departmental Oracle Fusion transformation spanning four major UK government departments is building its testing governance function and needs senior practitioners who know the difference.

THE ROLE

Six senior QA and testing roles are available across SFIA L5 and L6 on one of the most significant public sector programmes currently in delivery. Roles include Integration Test Lead, Operational Acceptance Test Lead, Non-Functional Test Lead, User Acceptance Test Lead, Application Test Lead, and QA Reviewer. Oracle Fusion is at the core. Independent assurance is the standard. You will not be handed a test script — you will own the framework that governs them.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
