Senior Quality Advisor – Infrastructure
Location: London, South East & Midlands
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:30
Position: Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of an established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor for an experienced Senior Quality Advisor to support projects across London, the South and Midlands. This is a site-focused role supporting multiple live infrastructure projects, ensuring consistent quality standards, compliance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001:2015, while helping to drive continuous improvement across the division.
The Role
Working closely with operational teams and the Group Quality Manager, you will:
- Conduct regular project support visits across multiple live construction sites.
- Carry out internal quality audits, site inspections and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with the company's QMS, ISO 9001:2015 and relevant industry standards.
- Support Quality Planning Meetings at the start of new projects.
- Manage the divisional audit and inspection schedule.
- Support projects during external third-party audits.
- Review non-conformances, complaints and feedback, identifying trends and appropriate corrective actions.
- Produce monthly quality performance reports for Project Managers and senior management.
- Facilitate post-project reviews and capture lessons learnt.
- Provide practical quality guidance and support to project teams.
- Promote best practice and continuous improvement across the division.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams on quality matters.
- Deliver quality-related training and awareness sessions.

About You
We are looking for someone with:
- At least 3 years' experience in a quality role within the construction sector.
- Strong engineering knowledge, ideally gained within civil engineering or infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience conducting internal audits, site inspections and quality assessments.
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification as a minimum.
- A recognised qualification in Quality Management.
- Ideally HNC/HND qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ideally Associate membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or working towards Practitioner grade.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and support site teams at all levels.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to travel regularly between projects across London, the South and Midlands.

The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established infrastructure contractor in a senior quality position where you'll have exposure to multiple projects and work closely with both operational and senior leadership teams.
The role would suit an experienced Quality Advisor, Senior Quality Advisor, Quality Engineer or Quality Manager from a civil engineering, infrastructure or construction background looking for their next permanent opportunity.
