Senior QA Automation Engineer - Remote UK - up to £70K + equity
Most automation jobs hand you someone else's flaky suite and a backlog of tickets. This one hands you the strategy.
You decide what gets tested, what runs in the pipeline, and what blocks a release. Frameworks you build rather than inherit, test code held to the same bar as production code, quality gates in CI/CD, performance testing on the workflows that actually matter. Data-heavy platform with real processing pipelines behind it - the edge cases are genuinely interesting.

Responsibilities
- 4+ years building and maintaining automation frameworks, not just running them
- Strong in Python, Ruby or TypeScript - one, properly
- Playwright, Cypress or Selenium
- API testing and SQL/PostgreSQL for validating state
- Tests embedded in CI/CD, not run alongside it
- Performance and load testing, and LLM tooling as part of how you actually work
