Job Description
We are at Coforge hiring for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in QA, API, Kafka, Payment system, Airport Departure Control System, Flight Management, Weight, Balance.
- Preference for intermediate and senior (5+ year experience) profiles
- Functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing
- Test case design, execution, and defect management
- Regression and non-regression testing in complex and distributed systems
- API testing and validation (e.g., REST, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI)
- Test automation frameworks (UFT and Robot Framework) and automated regression testing
- Performance, security, and exploratory testing (where applicable)
- Testing cloud-native applications and microservices-based architectures
- Agile testing practices, including continuous testing and shift-left approaches
- Test management and defect tracking tools
- Event-driven architectures and event streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka)
- AI-enabled testing approaches and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations (an advantage)
- Collaborate closely with Functional Analysts (PDAs), Developers, Product Owners, and Architects throughout the software development lifecycle
- Validate implemented solutions against functional designs, acceptance criteria, and business requirements
- Define test strategies and ensure comprehensive functional and non-functional test coverage
- Identify, analyse, and communicate defects, risks, and quality improvements
- Ensure the quality of customer deliverables within Agile delivery timelines and release schedule
- Customer Management (DCS – Departure Control System), including our next gen Delivery Management System
- Flight Management including Weight and Balance
