Are you passionate about quality engineering and using automation to deliver reliable, high-performing software?

Transport Exchange Group Ltd (TEG) is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join the Quality Assurance Team, a fast-growing fintech SaaS business developing market-leading software for the transport industry.

About the Role

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our SaaS platform and mobile applications. Working closely with Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders, you will help deliver high-quality software through automation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
  • Executing functional, regression, API, and integration testing.
  • Collaborating with Developers and Product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Investigating defects and carrying out root cause analysis.
  • Supporting production releases and validating deployments.
  • Driving improvements in testing processes, automation, and quality standards.

Who We're Looking For

You will stand out if you have:

  • 6+ years' experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Strong experience with Java and Playwright and/or Selenium.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman or Swagger.
  • Knowledge of SQL, CI/CD, GitHub, and Jenkins.
  • Experience working in Agile development teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality software through automation.

Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire (Bewley House)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:30 onsite

Compensation: From £50,000 (dependent on experience)
