We’re hiring: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Product team at Atomix.ai. This is a remote, full-time role, reporting to the Engineering Lead and working UK (GMT) hours.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll own quality engineering for the Atomix platform end-to-end, from the browser through to the API, contracts, performance and security layers. This is a build-and-own role. You’ll analyse problems, decide what to automate and what not to, design the solution and ship it. You’ll own the centralised test suite, release quality gates and the signal the engineering team relies on before a version is promoted to production.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Owning the quality engineering pipeline and release gates
  • Building and extending automation across E2E, API, contract, performance, security, visual and accessibility testing
  • Designing test architecture, including shared clients, fixtures, authentication helpers and environment configuration
  • Running and maintaining the test suite as containerised GKE Jobs and CronJobs
  • Owning performance baselines and k6 thresholds across environments
  • Keeping the test suite reliable and non-flaky
  • Writing clear manual and exploratory test cases where automation isn’t appropriate
  • Reproducing, triaging and driving defects through to closure
  • Maintaining ADRs and the engineering knowledge base
  • Helping engineers adopt and contribute to the test suite

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
