Insight Global - Senior QA Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for a leading financial markets and clearing organization. This individual will join the Delivery Assurance team, playing a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of critical clearing, risk, and post-trade platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with Risk Operations and Margin teams, leading testing initiatives across multiple projects while enhancing existing automation frameworks in a fast-paced Capital Markets environment.

This position requires 4 days onsite in London, England.

Role Overview

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for leading test strategy and execution across the full software development lifecycle, supporting both automated and manual testing activities. Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, this individual will help drive quality improvements, support production assurance activities, and validate complex risk and margining processes.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Strong QA and software testing experience within Capital Markets environments.
  • Previous experience testing Risk Management systems.
  • Strong understanding of margining concepts including Initial Margin (IM), Variation Margin (VM), and Collateral.
  • Experience working directly on Unix/Linux servers.
  • Hands-on experience with Java-based automation frameworks.
  • Experience using Cucumber/Gherkin for test automation.
  • Strong SQL and Oracle experience.
  • Experience with Jira and Zephyr for test and defect management.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage testing activities across multiple projects simultaneously.
