About Swapped.com

We're a bootstrapped, profitable team of 30 making buying, selling, and moving crypto easier. Our products power Polymarket, Trust Wallet, Brave Browser and others: 3M+ users onboarded across 150+ countries.

The role

Ramp is our core product: an on- and off-ramp that businesses embed to let their customers buy and sell crypto. It supports 40+ payment methods, from cards and Apple Pay to bank transfers, across 25+ fiat currencies and 30+ cryptocurrencies. You'd join the Ramp product team as its QA engineer, working directly with the frontend and backend developers who build it. We're looking for someone to own quality end-to-end: think in edge cases, keep releases honest, and surface problems instead of saying everything's fine.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll do

  • Test features and releases across frontend and backend before they hit production
  • Validate buy and sell flows: cards (incl. 3DS), Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfers, across currencies and countries
  • Check compliance steps trigger exactly where they should and nowhere else
  • Break things first: find the edge cases and failure modes developers miss, especially where money moves
  • Test APIs with Postman and dev tools, not just the UI
  • Run test plans against per-branch preview environments and regression after deploys
  • Turn around urgent testing for releases and merchant launches; fill quieter weeks with exploratory testing you chose yourself
  • Maintain bug reports and test cases in Notion, working AI-first with tools like Claude Code

About you

  • 5+ years of hands-on manual QA: you decide what to test, when it's tested enough, and what blocks a release
  • You find your own work, surface problems and resource needs early, and don't wait to be told
  • You prioritise by impact: revenue-affecting bugs get your attention before cosmetic ones
  • Comfortable below the UI: APIs and backend behaviour
  • Crypto or payments experience is a strong plus
  • Fluent with AI tooling but critical of its output
  • Full professional proficiency in English, with reliable availability the team can plan around

What we offer

  • 45,000 to 55,000 EUR annual salary + yearly performance bonus (1 to 2 months' salary)
  • Yearly company trip, annual upskilling budget
  • No red tape, no corporate bs
