iSQ Recruitment are supporting a well-established global manufacturing business with their search for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join the quality team at their Norfolk site.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in driving product quality, reducing defects and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing.
You'll work closely with the Quality Manager and wider team, taking ownership of quality investigations, audits, customer complaints and process improvement initiatives, while helping to embed a strong quality culture throughout the business.
Please note this client does not offer visa sponsorship. Only candidates with full Right to Work in the UK and relevant experience will be considered. Due to the location, applicants must also have a full UK driving license and own vehicle.
The Role – Senior Quality Assurance (QA)
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll support the delivery of quality standards, systems and procedures across the site. You'll use data analysis, problem-solving techniques and quality management tools to identify issues, implement corrective actions and improve process capability.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys investigating problems, working collaboratively across departments and driving improvements towards a zero-defects culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain quality standards, systems and documentation across the manufacturing site.
- Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Monitor quality KPIs and process capability using SPC, data analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits, including BRCGS and relevant ISO standards.
- Support product testing, calibration, customer documentation and quality reporting.
- Work with colleagues across the business to reduce defects, improve processes and promote continuous improvement.

About You
- Proven experience in a quality assurance role.
- Manufacturing experience, ideally within FMCG.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, internal audits and corrective actions.
- Experience with root cause analysis, customer complaints and non-conformances.
- Understanding of SPC, process capability and product safety principles, including HACCP.
- GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- BRCGS or ISO auditing qualifications, IOSH knowledge, laboratory experience and Six Sigma Green Belt status would be advantageous.
