Senior QA - Clinical Trial Supply | Remote UK, Ireland or Germany
An established and growing clinical trial supply specialist is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join its collaborative international team.
The company provides tailored sourcing, procurement, market-access and distribution solutions to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and CRO customers. Operating with a lean, specialist structure, it offers an environment in which quality professionals can have visible influence, take genuine ownership and work closely with senior stakeholders.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA professional who enjoys working in an agile, hands-on business rather than within a heavily layered corporate structure.
The organisation manages a focused portfolio of bespoke, high-value clinical supply movements. Success in this role therefore depends on care, judgement and close attention to individual requirements, rather than managing a high-volume, standardised logistics operation.
Working remotely from the UK, Ireland or Germany, you will help maintain robust quality standards across the company’s clinical trial supply activities. You will also provide practical guidance and mentoring to colleagues, contributing to the continued development of the wider quality function.

- Support the effective operation and continued development of the pharmaceutical quality system.
- Provide hands-on QA guidance across clinical trial sourcing, supply and distribution activities.
- Review quality documentation and help ensure that processes are applied consistently.
- Work closely with operational and commercial colleagues to resolve quality-related questions.
- Help identify quality risks and support proportionate, practical solutions.
- Contribute to quality reviews, improvement initiatives and team checkpoints.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues within the quality function.
- Promote a strong quality culture across a lean, entrepreneurial organisation.
You will bring:
- Recent, direct experience within clinical trial supply chains.
- At least three to four years of core Quality Assurance experience.
- Experience gained within a clinical trial supply organisation, specialist pharmaceutical wholesaler, or medium-sized CMO or CDMO.
- A practical understanding of the quality requirements associated with the sourcing, handling and distribution of medicines.
- The ability to apply quality principles in a bespoke, lower-volume and high-value environment.
- Confidence working autonomously while remaining approachable and collaborative.
- The judgement and communication skills needed to guide and mentor colleagues.
- A pragmatic, detail-focused approach, with the flexibility to operate effectively in a growing specialist business.
- General GDP, logistics or manufacturing experience will be valuable, but applicants will need demonstrable clinical supply exposure to succeed in this position.

Location and working pattern
The successful candidate may be based remotely in the UK, Republic of Ireland or Germany.
The role includes a firm commitment to attend the company’s headquarters in north-west England, for two days each month. These visits will support team collaboration, quality alignment and important business checkpoints.
