The Role
This position is for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in the creation and management of test cases, as well as the establishment of QA practices for the team. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and implementing manual QA practices and processes.
- Writing and managing test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Executing test cases and reporting issues to the development team.
- Collaborating closely with the development team to ensure that QA standards are followed.
- Overseeing the transition to automated QA processes as the team expands.
- Conducting code reviews and contributing to unit testing.
- Keeping up to date with industry best practices and emerging QA technologies.
- Providing training and mentorship to junior QA team members.

Requirements
- Proven experience in establishing and leading manual QA processes and teams.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Extensive experience with manual testing and test case creation.
- Proficiency in writing detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Full professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in setting up QA practices and working closely with development teams.
- Familiarity with QA automation tools and frameworks.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
