We're looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom in a remote working mode.

In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, robust software solutions by planning and implementing diverse testing strategies, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement. You will work in a collaborative agile environment to uphold quality standards while contributing to solution reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the release of high-quality software aligned with defined requirements
  • Design and document comprehensive test plans from software specifications
  • Develop and implement manual and automated test strategies
  • Report on software risks and release readiness
  • Coordinate testing activities across agile team members
  • Drive continuous improvement using established quality metrics
  • Participate in project planning, estimating test efforts, and analyzing requirements
  • Execute API, UI, and functional testing across multiple environments
  • Apply best practices for automation and performance testing
  • Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in agile development teams
  • Strong automation expertise using Rest Assured with Java 17+ and Selenium 4
  • Hands-on knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and test automation frameworks
  • Ability to design test strategies for distributed and cloud-based solutions
  • Knowledge of performance testing and API testing tools
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments

  • Basic knowledge of Linux and Docker
  • Familiarity with version control tools (GIT) and build tools like Apache Maven
  • Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS (EKS, ECS, IAM)
