Senior Quality Engineer
Northamptonshire
£65k per annum
The client is looking at its biggest ever year in 2027 and we're looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing business, taking ownership of quality activities within a fast paced manufacturing environment. They are driving the future engineering and technology across many sectors including motorsport.
Speaking with the hiring manager this could lead naturally into a management position, progression is definitely on offer here.......
This is a hands-on role where you'll mentor a team of Quality Engineers, drive continuous improvement and work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure products and processes meet the highest quality standards.

The Role
- Lead and develop the Quality Engineering duties/team.
- Oversee quality planning for exciting prototype projects.
- Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Support NPI and APQP activities, ensuring quality requirements are met throughout the process.
- Lead 8D problem-solving activities and resolve customer quality concerns.
- Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant quality standards.

About You
- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing quality role within precision engineering.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015; AS9100 experience would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of inspection processes and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
