We're supporting a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their Quality team in Diss.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional looking to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be involved in everything from audits and quality improvement initiatives through to CAPA, supplier quality, validation activities, and continuous improvement projects.

Core Duties:

  • Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
  • Conducting internal audits and supporting external audit activities
  • Leading customer complaint investigations and associated CAPA activities
  • Driving root cause investigations using recognised problem-solving methodologies
  • Managing calibration activities and quality documentation
  • Supporting supplier quality management, audits, and performance reviews
  • Assisting with process verification, validation, and risk management activities
  • Providing quality engineering support for manufacturing, continuous improvement, and new product introduction projects
  • Producing quality metrics, KPI reports, and trend analysis to support business decision-making
  • Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to drive quality improvements across the business

About You:

  • Experience within a Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Quality Systems role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience conducting audits and managing CAPA activities
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques
  • Metrology knowledge and experience
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical standards
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with supplier quality management, risk assessment, or validation activities would be advantageous
  • A proactive approach with a passion for driving quality and operational excellence
