We're supporting a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their Quality team in Diss.
This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional looking to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be involved in everything from audits and quality improvement initiatives through to CAPA, supplier quality, validation activities, and continuous improvement projects.
Core Duties:
- Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
- Conducting internal audits and supporting external audit activities
- Leading customer complaint investigations and associated CAPA activities
- Driving root cause investigations using recognised problem-solving methodologies
- Managing calibration activities and quality documentation
- Supporting supplier quality management, audits, and performance reviews
- Assisting with process verification, validation, and risk management activities
- Providing quality engineering support for manufacturing, continuous improvement, and new product introduction projects
- Producing quality metrics, KPI reports, and trend analysis to support business decision-making
- Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to drive quality improvements across the business

About You:
- Experience within a Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Quality Systems role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience conducting audits and managing CAPA activities
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques
- Metrology knowledge and experience
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical standards
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with supplier quality management, risk assessment, or validation activities would be advantageous
- A proactive approach with a passion for driving quality and operational excellence
