In the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you’ll help power iconic electric cars. About the Role

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping quality excellence within JLR's Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre. Supporting the future of electrification, you'll lead quality improvement activities, influence business performance and help ensure our innovative products meet the highest standards.

What To Expect

You'll join a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on electric propulsion technology, where quality is central to everything we do. Working closely with plant and production teams, you'll lead a small team of engineers while helping to solve complex challenges, improve processes and embed best practice across the operation.

  • Leading the resolution of escalated quality concerns, driving root cause analysis and delivering sustainable corrective actions
  • Coaching and developing quality engineers, supporting a culture of continuous learning, collaboration and improvement
  • Governing the application of the Quality Management System across manufacturing operations, ensuring consistent standards and compliance
  • Leading quality audits and driving the resolution of findings through structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Creating and delivering quality improvement projects that enhance performance, standardise processes and support operational excellence

What You'll Need

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills and experiences you'll need to help you succeed here, including:

  • Demonstrating significant experience within a manufacturing quality engineering environment
  • Applying structured problem-solving techniques such as 8D, DMAIC, FTA and PDCA to resolve complex issues
  • Working with Quality Management Systems and their implementation in line with IATF 16949 standards
  • Using data analysis to identify trends, inform decisions and deliver measurable improvements
  • Presenting information clearly, influencing stakeholders effectively and leading projects, meetings and cross-functional activities
