An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join a leading organisation within the high-technology engineering sector. This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to take the next step in their career, working within a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment where quality, compliance, and innovation are key priorities.
This position would suit a confident and proactive Quality Engineer with a strong background in quality assurance, ideally gained in aerospace.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance activities across fabrication, welding, and non-destructive testing operations.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Conduct and manage internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring prompt resolution of non-conformances.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and lead quality improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer
- Experience in Aerospace preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of AS9100 /ISO 9001, NADCAP
- Experience with FAIRs, PPAP, APQP, 8Ds, 5Ys
- Auditing experience

Salary
- £40k - £45k
Job Details
- Permanent - 40hrs per week, Full time, flexible hours
