Job Description

Rotork UK Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to become a key member of our Quality Department at our Leeds manufacturing facility. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you’ll play a crucial part in strengthening product quality, developing robust processes, and supporting our continued growth.

You’ll work collaboratively across functions — partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Suppliers — to drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance, and embed a strong quality culture throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations into customer complaints, concerns, and internal quality issues
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions (RCCA)
  • Manage supplier quality, including approvals, audits, and supply-chain improvement
  • Support part qualification and change management (PPAP / sample approval)
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 80079-34, CSA standards
  • Conduct internal and process audits
  • Manage non-conformances across customer, supplier, internal, and audit activities
  • Support continuous improvement and new product introduction (NPI) projects
  • Promote quality awareness and Health & Safety across the business

About You

  • Experienced Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong Experience of Quality System Requirements - ISO 9001 & ISO 80079-34
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confident working cross-functionally and with suppliers
  • Passionate about quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
