Owen Daniels is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a leading Manufacturing business who are rapidly expanding in Worcester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys a hands-on engineering environment, gets involved in solving problems, and wants to play a key role in improving quality across a busy manufacturing operation.
Role Overview
The role will see you working closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers, taking ownership of quality issues and driving them through to effective, long-term solutions. You will be involved across:
- APQP
- PPAP
- 8D
- 5 Why
- PFMEA
- Control Plans
- Root cause analysis
- Continuous improvement

There will be plenty of opportunity to get involved with new projects as well as existing production.
Key Responsibilities
- Look at a quality issue, get to the real root cause, and work with the team to ensure it doesn't happen again.
- Investigate issues, working with engineering and production to make visible improvements.
Requirements
- Experience as a Quality Engineer within a regulated manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of APQP and PPAP.
- Practical experience with 8D, 5 Why, and root cause analysis.
- Good understanding of PFMEA, Control Plans, and quality planning.
- Experience dealing with customer and supplier quality issues.
- A hands-on approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- The confidence to work with production, engineering, and customers at all levels.
