Senior Quality Engineer (Mobile)
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer (Mobile) to join a cross-functional Scrum Team. The role focuses on building quality into the software development lifecycle through mobile automation, API testing, debugging, CI/CD and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality mobile features.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for iOS and Android using Appium, Katalon, or similar tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
- Perform API testing and automation using Postman or similar tools.
- Troubleshoot mobile and API issues using tools such as Charles Proxy, Splunk, and Sentry.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and improve test reliability and reporting.
- Develop reusable, data-driven automation frameworks and reduce flaky tests.
- Promote quality ownership and continuous improvement across the Scrum Team.
- Use AI-assisted tools responsibly for test generation, analysis, and code review.

Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of software quality engineering experience and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience testing iOS and Android applications.
- 3+ years of mobile automation experience with Appium, Katalon, Selendroid, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, E2E, compatibility, and accessibility testing.
- Knowledge of Swift, Kotlin, or similar programming languages.
- Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CI/CD and automation framework integration.
- Good communication and collaboration skills in Agile/Scrum teams.

Nice-to-Have
- Experience with WebdriverIO (WDIO), JavaScript, or TypeScript automation.
- Mobile and API customer journey/E2E automation experience.
- Experience with test data management, root-cause analysis, and flaky-test reduction.
- Experience with AI-assisted testing and engineering productivity tools.
