We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Diss. This is a key role within the Quality team, supporting the Quality Management System and helping drive quality and continuous improvement across the business.

The ideal candidate will have previous Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance or Quality Systems experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience within medical devices or another regulated industry would be highly beneficial.

Senior Quality Engineer Duties

  • Supporting and improving the company's Quality Management System
  • Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits
  • Investigating customer complaints and managing CAPA activities
  • Carrying out root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Supporting calibration, metrology and inspection activities
  • Assisting with supplier quality and risk management
  • Supporting process validation and new product introductions
  • Producing quality reports and monitoring KPIs
  • Working closely with Engineering, Operations and other teams to drive continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Previous Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance experience within manufacturing
  • Good understanding of Quality Management Systems
  • Experience with audits, CAPA and root cause analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Confident reading engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience

  • Medical device or other regulated manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 / ISO 14971
  • Internal Auditor qualification
  • Experience with FMEA, validation or supplier quality
  • Metrology experience
  • Project leadership experience
