Senior Quality Manager / Responsible Person
Generics Pharmaceuticals | Greater London/Hertfordshire border
Working Pattern: Hybrid (approximately three days per week in the office).
A genuine opportunity to shape the future of Quality within one of the UK’s most exciting and ambitious generics pharmaceutical businesses.
We’re delighted to be exclusively supporting an ambitious, privately owned pharmaceutical organisation as they continue an exciting period of sustained growth. Having significantly expanded their product portfolio, secured key regulatory milestones and invested heavily in both their UK and international operations, our client is now seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager / Responsible Person to become a key member of their leadership team.
This is much more than a traditional RP position.
The successful individual will have the opportunity to influence the direction of the Quality function, lead an expanding team across the UK and overseas, and play a pivotal role in supporting the next phase of the company’s growth. For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity for this role to develop into Head of Quality as the business continues to evolve.
The Opportunity
Working within a highly collaborative and commercially focused organisation, you’ll partner closely with senior leadership, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Commercial and Operations to ensure Quality remains central to every aspect of the business.
Operating within a virtual generics environment, you’ll lead Quality activities across multiple third-party partners whilst providing strategic direction, maintaining regulatory compliance and developing a growing Quality team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
