Job Title

This role supports delivery of the ICB's Four Layers of Care model — the clinical model through which NHS Kent and Medway commissions and provides care across primary care, single neighbourhood, multi-neighbourhood and acute hospital settings.

The post holder will ensure quality, safety and patient experience are embedded consistently as care moves across these layers, in line with the ICB's ambition to shift activity toward proactive, community-based care.

The post holder will manage provider quality assurance and improvement at place and system level for the ICB, from a nominated portfolio, as part of a wider Quality Team.

The post will take the role of Quality Lead in the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) for Urgent and Emergency Care and Flow, which forms part of the foundation of our operating model, by promoting integrated decision-making and shared accountability. Collaboration is central to the way the ICB works across all teams and units, and this role will actively foster and enable effective partnership working across the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
