Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced quantitative professional to provide analytical expertise across trading, risk management, and investment decision-making within a global investment banking environment. This role combines advanced quantitative research, mathematical modelling, technology development, and strategic leadership to support trading performance, client solutions, and business growth.

Contract Length: 6 months - likely renewable

Location: Canary Wharf - 3 days per week onsite

Start Date: End of October

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quantitative models and trading strategies to identify market opportunities, improve pricing methodologies, and support risk management across a range of financial products.
  • Conduct advanced research, data analysis, and statistical modelling to generate insights into market behaviour, valuation methodologies, and risk dynamics.
  • Partner closely with Front Office teams, including Sales and Trading, to understand client requirements and deliver tailored quantitative solutions.
  • Lead the ownership, enhancement, and maintenance of analytical libraries and front-office infrastructure to ensure robust trading support capabilities.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new quantitative techniques, technologies, and industry best practices.
