Responsibilities / Position Overview
Our market research Insights Team is seeking a senior market research manager (title: Account Director) to join the quantitative / mixed methods research team. A combined research delivery and account lead position.
This position involves:
- Owning and leading project deliverables for effective research project management.
- Owning and building client relationships to generate revenue and drive business growth.
- Independently conducting research activities, building client relationships, whilst helping to lead, and coach a team.
- Acting as a valued internal resource and role model, within Lumanity.

The core competencies for this role include but are not limited to:
- Owning and leading project deliverables to ensure effective management and implementation of research projects, whilst maintaining and leading on, client contact.
- Leading development of client presentations and taking responsibility for running projects within budget.
- Independently conducting research activities to help drive innovation and improve client satisfaction; leading design, fieldwork, analysis, interpretation and writing of research projects.
- Coaching others in the design of research materials and presentations, helping colleagues to produce client ready versions of research materials and presentations.
- Advanced complex quantitative research experience, including conjoint and segmentation analysis.
- Building close client relationships to help generate business and drive growth by identifying opportunities and engaging in business development activities.
- Being key account lead across 3-6 clients and confident putting together RFPs.
- Leading direct reports, ensuring effective teamwork and coaching colleagues by providing support and development; conducting appraisals, providing feedback and on the job coaching to ensure ongoing development.

Qualifications
- Strong Degree (2:1) in any subject and/or professional qualification preferable.
- 6-8 years’ experience in research or professional services organisation.
- 5 years’ experience in research-based project support role.
- 5 years+ commercial quantitative research experience.
- 2-3 years healthcare sector experience is preferable.
- All-round technical ability and broad knowledge of research methods and approaches.
- Proven results in project management, people management, and coaching skills.
- Computer proficient – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
