About the Role
Your statistical work will directly shape the methodology of a company built by an Oxford professor and a hedge fund manager, now scaling fast after closing their Series B.
This is a fully remote role, so you work from wherever suits you. No commute, no office politics, just serious quantitative work with people who understand the craft.
You will spend your time building and improving forecasting models, working across time series, regression modelling and seasonality. You will be thinking carefully about how the company analyses data and finding ways to make the methodology sharper, more robust and more defensible. This is not a role where you inherit a finished system and maintain it. You are improving how things are done, and your fingerprints will be on the output.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
