About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our friendly and collaborative team. Based primarily in our Sheffield office, with occasional travel to our London office, project sites, and client locations as required. This role will be predominantly focused on Healthcare and the Public Sector.

With a growing workload and a wide variety of projects, we are seeking an individual who not only excels in all aspects of Quantity Surveying — from cost planning and pre-contract documentation to final account — but who also has a desire to take on more Business Development and an interest in mentoring more junior colleagues.

In return, we offer a varied and rewarding workload, excellent career progression opportunities, and a competitive remuneration package within a supportive, people-focused environment.

The Role

You will be expected to operate in a client-facing role, delivering both pre- and post-contract cost management advice across a range of projects within the built environment. This includes providing cost estimates, tender documentation, and contract administration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
